Colonialism - The policy or practice of acquiring and controlling other countries and territories, 
often for economic gain. 
Colorblind racism - A form of racism characterized by the idea that race no longer matters, 
therefore racial inequalities are not caused by racism, but by other factors such as individual 
choice or merit. 
Colorblindness - The idea that race should not be considered or acknowledged, often used to 
justify colorblind racism.
Advocacy refers to the act of promoting or supporting a particular cause or policy. 
The Articles of Confederation were the first constitution of the United States, established 
in 1777 and in effect from 1781 until 1789. 
The color line refers to the division and discrimination based on racial identity, 
particularly between Black and white people in the United States.
1. Economic institution: system or organization that regulates and governs economic activities in 
a society, such as banks, stock markets, and corporations. 
2. Environmental racism: discrimination or disproportionate exposure of certain communities to 
environmental hazards or pollution based on their race or ethnicity.

The concept of colorblindness, which advocates not judging people based on 
their race, may appear attractive. Nevertheless, it's crucial to understand that racial 
issues and discrimination are intricate and cannot be resolved by simply disregarding 
them.
Ethical Egoism. Ethical egoism is the normative theory that the promotion of one's own good is in accordance with morality. In the strong version, it is held that it is always moral to promote one's own good, and it is never moral not to promote it.
When individuals are deciding what to do for themselves alone, they consider only their own utility. For example, if you are choosing ice cream for yourself, the utilitarian view is that you should choose the flavor that will give you the most pleasure.
