Throughout history, corruption in correctional facilities has been a complicated, multifaceted problem. To tackle this issue, extensive changes are needed, such as improved staff compensation and working conditions, strengthened oversight and accountability systems, and a dedication to maintaining moral principles. This criminal justice system can more effectively fulfill its mandate to protect public safety, administer justice, and assist in rehabilitating offenders by addressing corruption.
