how they look up at her. (She is the one in power and she is the ultimate desire)
High angles are used on Christian and the duke because the want Satine and
she's the one in power.
When Satine is suspended in the air, the high angle is used to foreshadow her
fall
When Christian sings to Satine in the elephant, she has a high angle because
she admires Christian and looks up at him
The high angles on Satine and Christian disappear when they are in love
because they are equals in the relationship.
When Satine is supposed to sleep with the duke, Christian looks up at Satine
with a high angle because now he’s weak and vulnerable (jealous). Their
relationship is no longer on equal footing
Low angles
Used on Satine to show how she’s desired and holds power
Zidler is in control and has power, thus having low angles. (Disappears when
the duke is in charge)
