Introduction
In this paper, we will be going over the overall concept of a business information system.
The proposed system is called Express Expense Reporting (EER). We will cover a System
Overview, Requirement Determination, Scope Feasibility, Diagrams, Data modeling, and User
Training and Maintenance. The Express, Expense Reporting system will be intended to be used
by end-users who work for a marketing firm that has to travel to meet clients and set up a
meeting that requires them to buy and maintain equipment to set up and complete each required
meeting they fulfill. The system will be used for individuals to track and report expenses using
integrated software both on a pc and mobile device integrated with a business intranet. The real-
time service will eliminate delays in the overall billing process for each end-user, categorize
purchase and keep track of each purchase made for each end-user.
The system overview process will provide a brief overview of the proposed business
information system and describe it. The requirements determination phase will discuss the types
of documents that would help analyze requirements gathering purposes and why they would be
significant. We will also explain the proposed business information system's scope and
feasibility by encompassing a business information system plan. Furthermore, we will be going
in-depth of both diagrams and data modeling to provide a visual aid for the system's
infrastructure and provide information towards user training and overall maintenance of the
business information system.
