2014). There are different types of conflict, as will be discussed in this paper. The paper also
objectively discusses factors that contribute to conflicts and possible implications of conflicting
happening. The paper also addresses varying communication techniques employed in resolving
conflicts. The paper will also clarify the notion of conflicts and set clear examples of conflict
environments.
Why does conflict occur?
Conflicts can occur due to controversy involving two or more individuals
concerningspecific issues attributed to different opinions and beliefs. Most importantly, conflict
can arise within personal values. Also, conflicts can be attributed to the fear of the unknown,
especially where there is a lack of fulfillment. To understand the different conflict perspectives,
we examine the different conflict types commonplace at workplaces and families.
The first conflict introduces as man vs. self: representing an internal conflict within
individual characters that develop with an individual's behavior. Allying what is right and wrong
can escalate an individual's natural extensive state, especially when forced into actions outside of
their comfort zone. For instance, suppose someone asks a person to do something illegal like
