work done professionally. When you put everything you have into completing a project
successfully it can be difficult to take negative feedback.
Customer Satisfaction
For this project to be a success we need to meet the pre-determined criteria. The main
purpose of this project is to improve the logistics operation so that it benefits both parties. The
customers in this case are also the clients and the host organizations. The team leader is looking
to impress his boss, his company and his company’s client. The key is going to be having an
organized holding area for assets waiting to be transferred between facilities. The dispatcher that
is on duty will work with yard crews to ensure that the tanks that are unloaded are placed in the
correct transfer area. The tanks also need to be loaded onto the correct truck going to the
assigned facility. We are considering making a “mock run” to show the stakeholders how the
system is designed to work.
In most projects similar to this there is a client and a host organization. In this case they
are one and the same. We had one team leader working with management for two companies
trying to accomplish one project. I think communication was the biggest issue. This issue came
up between the Cagney Logistics Manager and the Everett Energy Logistics Manager while
discussing the layout of the Everett facility in Morgan City. This was solved after some
discussion was held about the details of the loading and unloading procedures. The team also
looked at the layout of the facility as far as entrances and exits are concerned in terms of the
