21st- century crime with stories running rampant all over the globe on how victims are

enforcement initiatives to combat this crime, what are penalties for committing these crimes, and

Some of the problems that arise with Phishing in our personal lives are money being stolen from
our bank accounts, fraudulent charges on credit cards, tax returns filed in our names, loans access
to photos files, etc. fake social media posts made in our accounts, and what about our work lives,
loss of corporate funds, exposed personal information of customers and coworkers, outsiders
access to confidential communications, files, and systems, Files become locked and inaccessible,
and damage to employer's reputation. Phishing is what? Phishing is a crime that is committed
through the internet, it targets are contacted byemail, telephone or text message it is done by
someone pretending to be from a legitimate institute are organization to lure individuals into
providing sensitive data such as personalclassified information, banking, and credit card details,
and passwords. Once obtaining this information they are able to access all important information
on your accounts which then becomes identity theft and financial loss. While the people carrying
