The harmful effects of deforestation can reduce biodiversity and the ecological services provided by forests
on a global scale. Characteristics of deforestation include acceleration of flooding in surrounding areas,
regional climate change from extensive clearing of forested areas, decreased soil fertility from erosion, and
premature extinction of species. Discuss the prevalence of deforestation and its consequences in the US.

Wildlife has a great impact upon our surviving rate. Which really means if the wildlife and
the human race lived together, we would be in big trouble. Wildlife is meant to be separated
from the human society. Wildlife is only for certain types of animals. Everybody and
everything has its' own space. Some wildlife would not be able to survive in our space
because, humans will kill them. All humans and some animals cannot survive the wildlife. As
long as wildlife stays in its own space it's alright with me. God created heaven and earth and
everything and everybody breathing in it deserves to live.

prevalence of hantavirus has greatly increased in areas that have undergone deforestation and
other ecological changes due to the decreased in biodiversity of the regions and the increased
contact between humans and the rodents that carry hantavirus because of the increases in the
local distribution and abundance of generalists and hantavirus reservoir species in Panama
can be attributed to the changes in local environments occurring due to deforestation in
tropical areas, as has also been the case in other countries. But because of the loss of forests
and their biodiversity which is a key environmental issue in tropical regions the ecological
mechanisms associated with infection risk and the disease pattern in areas affected by land
use change have been identified and new policies must be implemented in order to work
