- High-heat appliance (Appliance Type) - -Any appliance in which the
products of combustion at the point of entrance to the flue under normal
operating conditions have a temperature greater than 2,000 F (1093 C).
- Low-heat appliance (Appliance Type) - -Any appliance in which the
products of combustion at the point of entrance to the flue under normal
operating conditions have a temperature of 1,000 F (538 C) or less.
- Medium-heat appliance (Appliance Type) - -Any appliance in which the
products of combustion at the point of entrance to the flue under normal
operating conditions have a temperature of more than 1,000 F (538 C), but
not greater than 2,000 F (1093 C).
- Appliance, Vented - -An appliance designed and installed in such a manner
