Chap 3 summery - Answers- Jem invites Walter to their house for dinner (lunch) and
Scout gets in trouble for not being polite enough to Walter because she thinks what he
is doing is weird. At the latter end of the chapter, Ms. Caroline gets frightened because
of the cootie in Burris Ewell's hair, and then the class collectively helps calm her down.
Finally, Scout make a deal with atticus that she will still read but she will not tell her
teacher.
