arrest potassium-sparing diuretics, ACE
§ Severe dehydration inhibitors, adrenal insufficiency
§ Insufficient insulin/uncontrolled § Age: older adult clients at greater risk
diabetes mellitus due to decreased kidney function and
medical conditions resulting in the use
of salt substitutes
