ANALYSIS:
1. Project topic AND description:
As IT Manager for Radeon Homes, I have noticed that the company is experiencing
loss of productivity, communication efficiency and lagging customer inquiry response
times because of our outdated collaboration tools. This proposal presents an IT
solution, the implementation of cloud-based Microsoft Office 365, which will increase
our overall productivity, efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
This project will be focused on a collaboration tool consolidation and migration.
Radeon Homes currently utilizes email for all internal and external communications.
This project will not only migrate email to the cloud but also improve collaboration
tools by introducing instant messaging, OneNote and OneDrive.
2. Project purpose AND goals:
The purpose of this proposal is to introduce a more effective collaboration tool. This
tool will be a secure cloud-based solution that is designed for company growth. The
current method of email as a primary form of communication has delayed response
times, missed critical due dates and with an influx of emails which employees cannot
decipher urgent versus standard communication.
