2) Salt b) “Salt in the solution produces an ionic conductive environment that will make the
DNA clump together (The sci guys, 2014).
3) Alcohol was used to precipitate the sample of DNA from the solution. “When alcohol
was added we can see that DNA is not soluble in alcohol, since the alcohol is more dense
than the banana solution it will form a layer on top of the mixture. This pulls the DNA
away from our solution to the top of the glass, we can see the DNA and pull it out (The
sci guys, 2014).”
Note: Alcohol must be cold
