Highway - ANSWER a common and public highway, street, avenue, parkway,
driveway, square, place, bridge, viaduct or trestle, any part of which is used by the
public for the passage of vehicles, INCLUDING the shoulders of the road and the
land between property lines.
Roadway - ANSWER ONLY the part of the highway that is designed or ordinarily
used for traffic, (not including the shoulder). Where a highway includes two or more
separate roadways, the term roadway refers to any one roadway and not all of the
roadways together.
Bus - ANSWER a motor vehicle designed for carrying 10 or more passengers and
used for the transportation of persons.
How old do you need to be to get C or F? - ANSWER >18, with valid G or higher (or
other provincial equivalent)
how often do operators need vehicles inspected? - ANSWER semi-annually, by
licensed motor-vehicle inspection mechanic (inspect if for compliance to HTA)
if valid, will give orange inspection sticker which indicates month and year of the
inspection (on the LOWER RIGHT corner of the windshield, or RIGHT SIDE of bus,
as close to the front as possible)
