Amoxicillin - Inhibit bacterial cell wall
- Do not take citrus juice (Decreases Effect)
- If allergic to amoxicillin do not take cephalosporin
- Take on empty stomach but food is ok
Azithromycin – Macrolide Z Pack AZZZZZZ I have bacteria
- Inhibits protein synthesis – Stronger Antibiotic
- Photosensitive! Tinnitus – ototoxicity
- Do not give with pt with heart issues, check Liver labs
Vancomycin – Glycopeptide
- Can lead to permanent hearing loss
- IV push Slowly!
