What is your name and what position are you running for?
~: Hi! My name is Francine Pham and I am running for the Community Chair or Publicity Chair.
Tell me about yourself.
~: I am currently a freshman. In my free time, I like to volunteer and help others. I would describe
myself to be spiritive, hard working, and responsible. You can always count on me, and I will be a
great addition to your ASB team.
What ideas do you have for ASB? (example of past work)
~: Next year, I would like to see ASB promote a day where we help the earth. As Community
Chair, I will do my best to get the students give back to the Earth.
As a member of ASB, what do you expect out of yourself?
~: I expect myself to be very enthusiastic and spritive for every event we plan. I will have to
cooperate with others well and be determined to succeed in the school year.
Other ideas for Community
~: We could create care packages for our military veterans and soldiers, thanking them for
everything they have done for us. We can include notes, some knickknacks, and other signs of
appreciation for them.

~: Cut for a Cure was very successful. There was a good handful of girls volunteering and the
hair stylists were very nice. I felt that more girls could have signed up though.
Why do you want to be in ASB? What does being a part of ASB mean to you?
~: -an opportunity for me to help others
-showcase my leadership
-grow as a leader and person
-I want to take this great opportunity and make the upcoming year as great as possible.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
~: Strengths: I am very determined and hardworking. I will strive to always do my best and never
give up until I reach my goal.
Weaknesses: I can get a bit disorganized when I am stressed, but I am working on this trait,
and I have gotten better.
Elaborate on your past/current leadership roles
~: I am Youth Group Leader. I lead my group during camp and activities, taking care of the
younger children, and just be a role model in general. I am also currently in ASB Senate. Although
I do not have an executive position, I have stepped up to the plate and take charge in activities
Philip has assigned. Lastly, I am a choir officer, activities chair. I advertise for our events, and plan
activities for my class.
