Remember: "pium" "can't pee." This drug is an anticholinergic and dries you up!



Side Effect: foul taste, xerostoma, increased ocular pressure, urinary retention.



Interventions: monitor urinary patterns, schedule eye exams, provide hard candy



Educate: suck on hard candy, regular eye exams, report urinary issues



Albuterol - Short acting beta agonist



Acute asthma exacerbation.



Acts on Beta 2 but also triggers Beta 1 (heart). So can cause tachycardia, palpitations, tremors, insomnia.
