Heavy Load Voltage Schedule Warning - answerIssued 4 hours prior to Heavy Load
Voltage Schedule. Place caps in service, remove reactors from service, adjust
transformer taps for distribution, and ensure voltage regulators in service on generating
units.
Reactive Reserve Check (RRC) - answerCalled for during capacity deficient conditions,
or when a Heavy Load Voltage Schedule is expected. Respond to RRC within 5-10
minutes. Requested via all-call. Tracks three types of reactive reserves: unit MVAR
reserves, condensers/SVCs, and capacitor/reactor reserves.
Capacity Shortage Alerts - answerIssued a day ahead of a scheduled load period.
There are four alerts:
1. Unit Startup Notification Alert

forecasted synchronized reserve requirement.
