5.41-B Parameters constituting a stabilized approach for Air-Evac are: - ANS-1. Unless
established on final approach, except to avoid obstacles, no turns will be made below
300 feet AGL and 60-knots.
2. Stabilized approach by 100 feet.
3. Bank angles less than 20 degrees.
4. Airspeed within +/- 15-knots, allow approach to end with little or no flare and to a
hover.
5. No roll rate below ETL is allowed.
6. A safe landing is never in doubt.

Acceptance of a flight is prohibited when liquid moisture in the form of mist, drizzle, or
rain is observed or forecast and a temperature of - ANS-+3 degrees Celsius / +37
degrees Fahrenheit

Air-Evac IIMC procedure - ANS-1. Transition to instruments and level the aircraft.
2. Initiate a climb with power and airspeed.
3. Autopilot assist. Ensure altitude and heading hold are engaged.
4. Raise and lock NVG's.
5. Adjust heading to avoid known terrain and obstacles.
6. Pitot heat and anti-ice - ON.
7. Squawk 7700-transponder code assuring transponder is set to ALT
8. Contact Tier 1 OCC and/or ATC if and when appropriate/able
9. Declare and emergency as soon as practical, depress the "emergency switch"
located on the collective.

Company alternate weather minimums are - ANS- for daytime operations and
for nighttime operations when the following requirements are met:
-base not located in and area, and you will not fly into an area, designated as
"Mountainous" as found in the AIM, para 5-6-5
-pilot must have flown a minimum of 25 hours day and 25 hours night at the Base area
and have approval by RDFO in consultation with the BPS
-NVG's must be operational
-Autopilot must be operable
