and formations, try to remember the movements of the bugong jauh pa rope in standing and
sitting positions if we observe from bungong jeumpa is a development of traditional dance from
the Aceh region therefore bungong jeumpa dance is a new creative dance.
You need to know that dance works are divided into three types, namely classical folk dance
and new creations, each dance work has a different floor pattern.

1. Form of folk dance floor pattern
From the people is a dance that lives and develops among the common people and reflects the
expression of the people, the movements and floor patterns are very simple and often repeated,
examples of folk dances are the tayub dance and the kuda kepang dance.

Classical dance is a type of dance that has reached a high level of beauty. Classical dance is
well maintained in the palace environment of kings and among the nobility. Movements in
classical dance have certain standards between one and another must be arranged and
connected in a certain way. Examples of classical dances are the Bedhaya and Serimpi dances
from Central Java. Legong Keraton dance from Bali and the Kelana Mask dance from West
Java. The form of classical dance movements is carefully arranged, binding and must not be
violated. Apart from having a form that has been arranged, the floor pattern in classical dance
sometimes has a certain meaning, for example the form of the raft path floor pattern in the

dance whose expression is not bound by existing rules or patterns modern dance gives freedom
Korea geography to express themselves with the freedom to create dance movements that
freedom is also in the form of floor patterns meaning there are many variations of floor patterns

In addition to floor patterns accompaniment also plays an important role dance accompaniment
is not only produced from the sound of musical instruments but can be from clapping, singing,
shouting and finger tapping although dance accompaniment is not only from musical
