and ADG pins present, life preservers, emergency escape hatch (green seals align) and
rope are present and functional. We also check to ensure proper FOM, POH, and mx
logs has no open issues.
Ok that looks good, what is next? - ANS-It is now time to accomplish the written (hard
copy) of the safety and power on check list.
When we establish DC power what is the limitation? - ANS-No more than 5 minutes
Prior to starting APU we want to ensure - ANS-No fueling is in progress verify that APU
batt and main batt has at least 22volts.
What happens prior to 60% APU rpm and at 99% rpm? - ANS-At 60% rpm APU start
status message is removed, at 99% and 2 seconds APU takes over powering of aircraft
APU switch green avail light becomes available.

ANS-External walk around.
The external walk around is complete, what is next? - ANS-F.O. acceptance flow.
