¿Tenemos salud?
Al ser un estado de completo bienestar es imposible que todos tengamos salud
en la actualidad.
El Department of Health and Human Services ha estado tratando de cambiar un poco este
concepto en base a que es bastante difícil de lograr. Para esto establecen algunos indicadores de
lo que realmente sería tener salud:
1. Lograr vidas libres de enfermedad prevenible, discapacidad, lesión y muerte súbita.
2. Lograr la equidad en la salud y eliminar las disparidades.
3. Promover la buena salud para todos.
4. Promover conductas saludables durante toda la vida.

Una enfermedad se considera como un padecimiento agudo o crónico (o subagudo) que se
adquiere o con el que se nace, el cual causa disfunción fisiológica en uno o más sistemas
corporales.
