Hello Class,
Knowing different personality types can create a healthier way in how you
perceive and behave towards everyone and everything you experience every day.
From the start just realizing that everyone has different personality traits and
backgrounds will give you a better sense of sympathy towards people and certain
actions. My HumanMetrics personality type was Extrovert, Intuitive, feeling, and
Perceiving, or ENFP. I definitely feel that I relate to the definition given on the
HumanMetrics website, as I am a outgoing person that is outgoing and friendly. I
also have very strong views that don’t always seem like they would go with a
person like myself. Reading these things helps me understand myself better, and
doesn’t skew my ideas of myself, they more solidify who I believe I am. I have
asked my girlfriend to take this test as well so I can read about her personality
type. I think this can help a large amount to get a better idea on how she thinks,
why she does certain things and how I can make things easier for her. If I can even
partially understand these personality traits of my girlfriend then I can make the
efforts to make our relationship stronger by making things more cohesive
between us and our personalities.
