HISTORY OF THE CUISINE OF YOUR ALLOCATED COUNTRY

1). Your lecturer will allocate a country to you post registration. This will be
communicated to you via myUnisa. Please contact your lecturer if there is no
country allocated to you after you have registered. You are not allowed to choose
your own country.
2). Research the traditional eating habits, culture, menu and dishes of the specific
country allocated to you. Keep in mind the factors that have an influence on the
cuisine of the country.
3). Present your research findings in not more than two (2) pages. You must use
A4 paper, Roman Time 12-point front, 1.5 spacing and 2.5 margins (left, right, top
& bottom). Your report must be well structured into headings, paragraphs and
page numbers.
4). You must use not less than five (5) different sources of information e.g.
textbooks, websites, encyclopaedias, journals, personal interviews, etc.
Make sure you cite all the sources of information within the text and make a
reference list at the end (See Tutorial letter 301).
5). Insert the rubric table at the end of your assignment 01
