Texas is one of 5 states in the U.S., that in addition to being able to boost of high incidence of HPV, with a higher than average rate of cervical cancer screenings and cervical cancer (Gazibara, Jia & Lub etkin, 2017). To combat the misconceptions of the HPV vaccine, the implementation of an education program of the benefits of the vaccine by decreasing the incidence of HPV, including the various types of cancer associated with HPV.
