Assignment B - Lesson Plan Form and Paragraph

To introduce the first conditional for the function of talking about events that
are likely to happen using ‘if’ and ‘will’.
Lesson Type: Grammar Lesson Aims: To provide controlled and freer practice of the first conditional in this function.

Students will learn how to form the first condition and understand its function

Language: Students would be familiar with basic grammatical terminology such as the

In Arabic Verb to be does not appear at all in the present time frame in the
Arabic language (Arabic Language Online, 2023).
• Solution: The meaning between the two verbs needs to be thoroughly
explained.
6. Auxiliary verbs may be challenging for the student to grasp.
• Solution: I will avoid using auxiliary verbs in my model sentences
during the presentation stage.
7. The use of ever is variable – it is frequently used in questions and
negative form. Going into too much detail with these rules may overload
the students and deter them from the lesson objectives.
• Solution: I will use them correctly in my examples and briefly explain
that it implies “at any time.”
8. I may accidentally present other functions of the present perfect tense.
• Solution: Keep the lesson simple and always refer to the present
perfect for general experiences.
9. The class may be boring as I do need to explain a few things.
• Solution: Run an interactive class and use materials and examples
that the students can relate to.
