Text 1 Herbstfeste in Österreich
F1 Im Herbst finden zahlreiche Volksfeste in Österreich statt.
Eine alte Tradition ist der Jahrmarkt, wo Händler ihre Waren verkaufen. Dieses Fest
fand früher einmal im Jahr statt. Heute wird der Jahrmarkt vierteljährlich abgehalten.
Das Erntedankfest wird im Herbst gefeiert. Nach dem Gottesdienst wird auf den
Dorfplätzen ein Volksfest gefeiert. Die Speisen für das Fest werden von den Bürgern
des Ortes angeboten.
Schließlich werden in Wien Weinfeste gefeiert. Hier werden die Produkte der Gegend
vorgestellt und verschiedene Weinsorten können in geringen Mengen probiert werden.
Für manche Feste trägt man gewöhnlich bestimmte Kleidung. Das Dirndl ist ein
Trachtenkleid, das gegen Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts erfunden wurde. Die Lederhose,
die früher eine Arbeitshose gewesen war, war um diese Zeit beinahe vollständig
verschwunden. Durch die Trachtenvereine, die 1883 gegründet wurden, sind die
Lederhosen wieder populär geworden.
