dit proces, konden studenten aan een voordelige prijs het volledige handboek verkrijgen.

- 8e E VC: Oosten experimenteert met gemechaniseerde vormen van tekstproductie
=> blokdruk/xylografie
= houten blok waarvan hout rond letters wordt weggesneden, er wordt drukinkt aangebracht op de
bovenste laag en gedrukt
=> deze techniek in algemeen gebruik in 1000 ( China) en 1600 ( Europa)
