Pressure Test - An operation performed to verify the gastight integrity of gas piping following its installation of modification.
Quick-disconnect Device - A hand-operated device that provides a means for
connecting and disconnecting an appliance or an appliance connector to a gas supply that is equipped with an automatic means to shut off the gas supply when the device is disconnected.
Regulator Vent - The opening in the atmospheric side of the regulator housing permitting the in and out movement of air to compensate for the movement of the regulator diaphragm.
Safety Shutoff Device - A device that will shut off the gas supply to the controlled burners in the event the source of ignition fails. This device can interrupt the flow of gas to main burners only or to pilot and main burners under its supervision.
