Types and Purposes of Teams in Business .
Groups and teams may be similar, but ultimately, they have their differences.
Groups are a collection of individuals who work together all in related roles however, they all
work independently with their own separate targets in kind which they work towards.
Teams are the same (a collection of people), but they have many of the same goals, aims
and targets in common which therefore causes them to depend on each other. Because of
this, they must come together and support one another.
The mains differences are that groups don’t involve as much teamwork as teams do, they
have shared goals and teams are generally more formal.
