teacher, has replaced a teacher who is on leave this term. In the first week of
the term, Lloyd experiences serious problems with her class and not much
learning seems to take place. He notices that you, a recent graduate from XY
University who is teaching the same grade at the school, appear to have a
disciplined class that is focused on learning. Lloyd approaches you and
explains the problem. He explains that during lessons, the class is either
rowdy and fools around, or is bored and passive most of the time. He doubts
that the class is learning anything from him. “What is your secrete?” he asks
you. And you reply, “No secret, but I do find that knowing about the theories
that show how different learners learn is very helpful.”
