Because Envoy appears to me to be an airline that will be around for a long time and
because of its size, there will be room for me to move up to captain in a
reasonable time.

I think Envoy has proven itself to be an airline that is here to stay.And because of its
size the prospect of being able to contribute to its continued development is very
good.

I have a good track record as being a professional person, punctual and dedicated

The first thing that's important to me i that I am treated fairly as an employee. The

,second thing is that I am working with people who have positive attitudes and are easy
to get along with.
What do you hope to get out of your time here?
Experience. I will learn from everything I do here. I will never stop learning. I will take
that experience and pass it down through the aviation community whether that be
speaking to kids about flying or transferring it to my students.
What will be the hardest part of working for Envoy?
I think every transition can be challenging but with the proper training and with me
applying myself I will be able to overcome all challenges.
What will you do to be successful in training?
Study smarter, not harder. Take the ground instructor's advice and study the materials
in the order they tell you. Use flash cards. Study with others in your class!
What would you do if you found yourself falling behind in ground school?
I would ask my fellow peers in my class how they are studying, if we can study in
groups to see what I'm missing in my studies, see how they're studying so I can
change my study habits, and I would also ask the ground instructor what he
recommends on how I study to improve my status in class.
What are your strengths?
I am thorough and detailed. Being organized helps me run my everyday life more
efficiently.
What is your greatest weakness?
experience. no previous 121 time
What is something you couple improve on?
Taking on too much while trying to get done with instructing as fast as possible. Need to
focus on slowing down and enjoying the time and learn some things along the way.
How do you handle criticism?
Very well, I try to learn from it.

Leadership is motivating a team to perform individual tasks that, when combined, will
achieve a stated goal.

Putting safety first is the number one trait of a professional. Being a leader and taking
control of any situation that may happen in flight.

What makes a good captain?
First and most important, a good Captain accepts the terrible responsibility of putting his
skills and judgement towards keeping the souls of others safe. A good
Captain knows the difference between leadership and management. You lead people,
you manage systems. Standby all decisions to keep people safe, but be ready to
compromise and admit when you make a mistake.

The best Captain knows how to delegate authority and to listen to the advice of those
under his/her command. He/she uses these assets to make the best decision under the
circumstances. Be of such mettle that when things go wrong, all eyes are upon you,

I expect a captain who is a team player and who is also someone I can learn from.

respectful manner, that appears to go contrary to company procedures.
What's important to you as a FO?
Being able to work as a professional team player, learning the airplane as quickly as
possible and being courteous to customers.

effective team.
