BA is an organisation that is classified from the ones that are internationally and they are the one
that operate globally, this airline is the enormous and the well-known organisation in UK. This
organisation was founded on 31st March 1974, and this organisation is well-known on today’s day.
BA is an airline that is based in London Heathrow this is an organisation that is originated in London
Heathrow, BA operate in 200 different destinations and in about 80 countries and this shows how
huge is the airlines. British Airways is a PLC organisation this means that it has a limited liability, BA is
a fully global company and it is a British company this means that they are home based in the UK,
such as London, Manchester and Birmingham, however they do have a range of destination that all
over the world. BA flies with over 140,000 customers every single day and they have more than 45
million customers every single year and this shows us that there are many customers that do rely on
the British Airways and they are mostly increasing year by year.
Their aims and objectives are to:
• Be the airline of choice for long-haul premium customer
• Deliver an outstanding service for customers at every touch point
• Grow our presence in key global cities

Singapore Airline was called as Malaysian Airlines when it was started in 1947, however in 1972 the
name was changed to Singapore Airline and this knows even today with this name, this airline is a
Singapore based airline and its home place is Singapore, the hub of Singapore Airline is in Singapore
Changi Airport, the brand of Singapore Airline is known the most because of Singapore Girl.
Singapore Airline, SilkAir and Scoot fly this airlines together fly over 130 destinations, they fly
towards Southeast Asia, North Asia, West Asia & Africa, Southwest Pacific, Europe and America.
There are 24,350 employees that work the SA, and this are the results for 2019. The SA flies most
towards the Asia. The SA is an Asian airline. SA has a mission statement and it is “Singapore Airlines
is a global company dedicated to providing air transportation services of the highest quality and to
maximising returns for the benefit of its shareholders and employees.” This shows us that they want
to provide to their customers the best quality and service that will make sure they will be proud
about the organisation that they travel in.
Their aims and objectives are to:
1

Slide 5
In this part of my presentation I will be describing the following factors that affect the BA and the
stakeholders: Political, Legal and Social.
Slide 6
The political stability takes the decisions for the organisations and they are elected after five years,
the last general election is going to happen in 12 th December of 2019 and for now the Prime Minister
is Boris Johnson and he is looking after the Brexit, and the UK is not politically stable. The political
stability of UK is of 0.26 and this shows that UK is not stable, the stability means how much balanced
the politician. The political stability is important to make sure that the economy of the country us
going to be stable and to make sure that the country is having a fair amount and constant amount of
profit as a whole country. The political stability is crucial for having a steady and stable business.
Impact on the stakeholder:
They will not able predict how much profit they are going to have in the future this means
that they would not be able to plan what they could be doing to be successful in the future,
what would they do if they will face a fall or a rise in the future, they would be able to
organise themselves
The customers are going to decrease because of BREXIT the customers would be travelling
less to save some money for themselves because they do not know what could be the
decisions after that BREXIT happens, and this means that they would try spend less on the
luxury and expensive services such as BA and they would try to minimise on what they are
going to spend however, this would have a negative impact on the organisation because of
less customers means less profit for the organisation.
The prices are going to increase because they would have less customers, they would
increase the prices so that if they do make any sale that would be made effectively and that
one ticket would make more profit for the organisation, because they have less customers
buying the tickets.
BA would find difficulties in planning new route and open new places this means that the
organisation would not be able to expand because of the political stability, they would be
limiting their organisation in making any further profit and to make the organisation more
successful, this would mean less branches so less profit for the organisation and less
customers would be buying tickets
