Chapter 1
Important Points
- There was a plane crash and there is no grownups
- The Fair Boy (Ralph) meet Fat Boy (Piggy)
- They find a conch and signal to the other kids on the island

- Leader of choir and Ralph want to be leaders
- Ralph is elected leader
- Ralph elects Leader of Choir (Jack) as head of the Choir (Hunters)
- Ralph Jack and random kid explore the island
- They climb a mountain and cause mass destruction when pushing a bolder off a ridge
- When they get to the top of the mountain they decide that is it actually an island
- On their way back they find a piglet and chicken out of killing it
Chapter 2
Important Points
- Ralph decides rules are needed and one major rule is “You can only speak when holding
the conch and will not be interrupted by none but me
- Little boy with birthmark claims there is a snake (beastie)
- There is an arguement and Ralph get frusted
- Jack says we will go hunt for the beastie to make sure it is not real
- Ralph then suggests to go and make a fire
- EVeryone stampedes towards the mountain and carnage unsues
- They pile up firewood on top of the mountain
- They need to light it with piggy’s glasses and Jack is mean to Piggy
- They don’t realise until to late that the fire has spreader to the forest below
- Piggy rants about things against the leadership and how childish all the kids are
- They realise that the litttle kid that told them about the beastie has gone missing (and is
probably burnt alive)
Chapter 3
Important Points
- Jack is hunting for a pig very primitively (on all fours and almost naked).
- Jack fails to catch a pig and is angry.
- Ralph and Simon are building huts alone because everyone got bored helping them (loads
of help on Nr. 1, not much on Nr.2, and only Ralph and Simon on Nr.3)
