A consumer may NOT be eligible for Med sup insurance for various reason, including but not limited
to the following: - consumer does not qualify for med sup open enrollment or guaranteed issue and
does not pass medical underwriting
Consumer is enrolled in another med sup plan or a MA plan which they do not intend to replace
under federal law, med sup open enrollment is the - first 6 months a consumer is 65 or older and
enrolled in Medicare part B. some states have additional open enrollments
