● Six-month probationary period: 6 months to check the success/efficiency of gym
classes delivered. However, there is very little monitoring of staff and performance,
so this probationary period might not be effective.

● Difference between permanent and temporary contract: temporary, You are only
employed for X months. Permanently there is no limit to the contract. Every
employee is given a permanent contract, which leads to a lack of flexibility. Also,
employees might be less efficient after the probationary period is over.

● Full time v part time employees: part time has to be less than 35h a week. Full time
35 or above. Employees can work more hours, if they wish, than those written in their
contract.But cannot work less hours as they have to be paid that minimum number of
hours a Zero hours: there is no set hours written in the contract.

● 75% full time contracts- lack of flexibility. High salary costs
