This paper consists of three (3) pages.
Instructions:
You have a maximum of (3 hours) to write portfolio essay type examination on 19 May 2022.
1. This examination consists of FOUR LONG ESSAY TYPE QUESTIONS. You must ONLY
ANSWER ANY TWO (2) QUESTIONS OF YOUR CHOICE.
2. When numbering your responses ensure that each answer corresponds to the number of the
question as it appears on the question paper.
3. Ensure that the answer file containing your responses is saved as a SINGLE FILE in PDF format
only.
4. Do not encrypt the answer file with a security code.
5. Scanned pages must be saved as a SINGLE document and converted to PDF format, only. (Refer
to the ‘Student Guide on ‘How to Scan and Prepare handwritten Exams’). Before scanning, ensure
that all pages are numbered in the correct sequence. It is in your interest to write neatly and legibly.
6. Ensure that the answer file whether TYPED or SCANNED does not exceed the stipulated 20MB
limit, otherwise it will not upload. (Refer to Student Guide on ‘How to reduce a file size or compress
a PDF’).
7. The examination answer file can ONLY be SUBMITTED via the MyExams site on the Moodle
platform.
8. Please ensure that you check (‘sign’) the ‘Honesty Declaration’ text box. If you fail to do so, you
would not be able to upload your examination answer file.
9. Ensure that the answer file is completely closed when uploading otherwise it may get ‘corrupted’.
10. Preview the file before uploading to ensure that you uploaded the correct file.
11. In case you submitted the incorrect file, you will be given a maximum of three (3) opportunities to
resubmit on the ‘eAssessment Tool on MyExams’ (Please do not abuse this function).
12. If any hint of PLAGIARISM is detected, the necessary disciplinary action will be taken against
you.
13. Please ensure that you submit the examination answer file on the scheduled due date and time.
14. You are not allowed to copy verbatim from your study material. You should write the answers in
your own words and provide relevant examples when answering the questions.
NO LATE EXAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
