1.
Both credit offers I chose are are credit card offers. One is Chase Freedom Unlimited
and the other is Blue Cash Preferred Card from American Express.

2.
The Chase Freedom Unlimited card has a credit limit of $500 of more. The Blue Cash
Preferred Card does not have a specific limit, it is based off of American Express’s
assessment of each application, so every applicant’s limit is different.
3.
There is a $0 annual fee on the Chase card, and the Amex card has a $0 fee for the first
year, then $95 after that, and this card requires a good-excellent credit score.
4.
I think the American Express card is a better deal, because although there is an annual
fee, the APR is 13.99%-23.99% while the Chase card is 14.99%-24.74%, and it has
better cash back options, like 6% back on groceries while Chase only offers 5%.
5.
I think I would accept the offer from American Express. It has a feature where if you
spend $3000 within the first 6 months, there is a $300 bonus, which can pay off the
annual fee for a couple years.
6.
Both cards could negatively affect my credit score if I can’t pay them back. But, if I use
my money strategically and only use a small amount of my credit limit as well as pay my
balance on time, I can build up my credit.
