Psychology. I am interested in researching the understanding of mental health and
mental illness from a South African perspective due to the discrimination and
minimum support that mentally disturbed people and their families face in our
communities. I attach a proposal for further research in this field.

peer group. The proposed project is required for my course in Research
Methodology. It, therefore, seems appropriate to submit this proposal for assessment
