I've chosen the Gold Marilyn Monroe artwork for this unit's topic. In 1962, AndyWarhol created this work of art as homage to Marilyn Monroe, the actress, model,
and singer who had grabbed America's imagination.

paintings honoring the actress, model, and singer who had grabbed America's
imagination in films such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and How to Marry a

Because of the accurate projection of purpose, this pop artwork sticks out to me.
Warhol created a golden backdrop and silkscreened Marylyn's face prominently in
the center of it. He utilized black to enhance shadows, making the model's face stand
out against the background, and yellow to symbolize her hair.
