OK is approximately 284,000 compared to nearly 328 million in the United States,

respectively. The percentage of population change from April 1, 2010 to July 1, 2019 for

Cleveland County was 10.9%, which was higher than the national average of 6.3%,

indicating that the population of Cleveland County is growing more quickly than the

nation’s. The percentage of persons under the age of 18 was similar between Cleveland

County and the nation at 21.2% and 22.3%, respectively. The percentage of persons age 65

and older is slightly lower than the national average at 13.8% compared to 16.5%,

respectively. The percentage of persons 65 years of age and under with a disability is

slightly higher than the national average at 9.5% versus 8.6%, respectively. The percentage

of population who are aged 16 years and above and are in the civilian workforce is slightly
