1. WHERE DO I FIT IN NOW? (200 words)
"I am below the poverty line, earning less than 60% of the median income." According to data from
the South African Labour Development Research Unit , a household income of R48,753 per month
after tax deductions is required to be among the richest 1% of South Africans. My monthly salary is
too low to supplement a family's income, let alone a middle-class family's income; as a result, I
frequently fall into poverty due to the lower income I receive on a monthly basis.
Living in poverty forces us to have little control over our earnings. We are isolated in other jobs
because some opportunities are granted to the wealthy. Inequality is significantly worse than the
poverty we face, implying that there are numerous disparities between the wealthy and the poor.
The wealthy are exposed to many more and better possibilities than the poor. There is a great

commercial projects such as math and accounting, among other things. Because some of these
students come from low-income families and their parents cannot afford university tuition, I will be
supporting them with their nsfas registrations. This group of students must be prepared for
university and assisted in passing all of their topics with good grades in order to be eligible for other
private company bursaries.
Encouraging students to be the best they can be in terms of reaching their goals and receiving good
grades during their matric year will develop many students and prepare them for life after matric.
This will also help a lot of students demonstrate their strengths in disciplines where they previously
struggled. Many grade 12 students require more than just classroom time because they are about to
