lymph nodes protect the body against any foreign invaders that may come through the eyes, ears, nose,
or mouth. However, the groin lymph nodes are another desriable location because they ward off any
invaders that may enter through the urinary, genital, or anus areas.
”2. Explain how the flow of lymph is controlled through lymphatic vessels. ”
The flow of lymph is controlled through lymphatic vessels because there are valves that travel one-way
to guarantee the lymph is flowing towards the heart. The lymph is able to flow from the lymphatic
capillaries to the lymphatic vessels. Allowing the lymph to continue flowing through lymphatic ducts into
the circulatory system.
