Week 3 case study- Mobilizing the Masses

From 1918 to 1932, there were lots of followers of Adolf Hitler which was gained by his

commanding authority and by his skills of public speaking. Depression set the stage for Hitler’s

party. By the end of the 1932, lots of Germans joined Nazi’s party because there was a huge

number of unemployment and resentments grew a lot by then. Nazi party got 33% of the vote in

the election of 1933. And Hitler became the chancellor of the country. Because of the speeches

he gave to the public helped him to become the dictator of the Germany. His speeches example

the Proclamation of the German Nation.

Hitler pointed out lots of factor which contributed in the problems of Germany in the

Proclamation of the German. Communism was one of the factors he maintains as a Germany’s

problem. Communism is type of government in which there is classless society, resources are

owned by states. Hitler believed that communism is the method of madness. Communism only

interrupted order and break the nation by sending it to chaos (Hitler, 1933). He maintained that

communism threatened faith, business, honor, justice and mortality of the Germany. He also

blamed the Marxist government who was the government before for about 14 years. He put all

the blame on the Marxist government for all the deaths and wounds. He exclaimed that public

gave Marxist 14 years to prove themselves, but they didn’t do any except running the nation. He

put all the blames of outcomes of war on the Marxist head rather than putting it on the event

which was the real reason of the condition of the nation.

Adolf Hitler was a great at giving speeches and he used this skill to create sense of

nationalism in the German nation. He identifies the problem, causes and the solution of that

problem and by doing it he was able to create the sense of nationalism. Hitler called off for the

mission and all group of government and even Reichsprasident was there to fulfill that honorable
