Geneeskundig proces
o Analytisch: op basis van grote groepen, breed starten, langzaam naar een
diagnose. Klinisch redeneren, hypothetico-deductief.
o Niet-analytisch: patroonherkenning, diagnose à vue.
1. Ziektediagnose: Meeste zekerheid en kennis over de ziekte; een harde
diagnose.
o Pathologisch anatomisch: verstoring van de anatomie. Objectief vast te
stellen dat er een afwijking zit in de vorm/organisatie/functie van
weefsel/organen.
o Pathofysiologisch: Verstoring van de functie. Uitkomsten uit bloedtest,
functietest, beeldvormend onderzoek etc.
o Etiologisch: De veroorzaker. De oorzaak is bijv. de bacterie maar
blootstelling aan de bacterie hoeft niet altijd te resulteren in een ziekte.
2. Syndroomdiagnose = nosologische diagnose
Complex van verschijnselen die bij elkaar horen. Hierbij is ‘’afgesproken’’ dat
die klachten dit syndroom vormen. Soms promoveert een syndroom tot
ziektediagnose: syndroom van Down.
3. Symptoomdiagnose
Dit beschrijft alleen een klacht. Het symptoom hoge bloeddruk. Je hebt
hypertensie.
4. Klachtdiagnose
Je kan de klacht niet meten zoals de bloeddruk. Bijv chronische hoofdpijn, lage
rugpijn (zonder aantoonbare hernia), vermoeidheid.
