Identificar y realizar una nomenclatura de horizontes con el fin de identificar su morfología, sus
propiedades fisicoquímicas, su estructura.
Metodología
A. Descripción del contexto
Tomar una muestra de suelo y describir el contexto de donde fueron extraídos
B. Identificación de la estructura del suelo y de los horizontes maestros
1. Se toma un poco de la muestra y se dispersa con la mano para mirar si tiene estructura de
suelo, luego se aplica una ligera presión. Se debe verificar en el perfil en donde se extrajo la
muestra si tiene porosidad y cierta esponjosidad. Luego, se debe observar si en la muestra
existen raíces gruesas, medias o finas y también si tiene insectos
2. Identificar a partir del color y de la estructura que se observa en el perfil los horizontes
maestros, ir distinguiendo el uno del otro e ir trazando los límites para ir trazando el espesor
para ir delimitando.
3. Darles la nomenclatura a las muestras. Primero se comienza con el horizonte maestro.
4. Observar cómo se forman los agregados en la muestra.
5. Tomar un terrón de tierra de la muestra y compararlo con la tabla Munsell
6. Tomar otro terrón de tierra, mojar la tierra con la mano y hacer una fuerte presión a los
agregados para deflocularlos para deshacerlos. Tomar datos de la consistencia.
7. Luego se toma una muestra del suelo, se humedece con agua y se hace una especie de rollo
