Immunizations for children are very essential in their everyday living, as a part of their
health and growth. Getting kids vaccinated is very crucial and also at the same time has
become controversial. In the medical field this controversy on if kids should receive
vaccines or not in their developmental lifespan. When born children and their immunity are
at an all-time low hence making them more susceptible to incurring diseases which are very
dangerous, some that cause chronic health issues or even death. Hospitals tend to give
parents a list of recommended vaccines with a timeframe of when they should get their
children vaccinated. While most parents tend to follow the recommended, but there are a
few parents out there that don’t participate in the due to religious and personal beliefs.
Some parents tend to believe that the recommended list won’t have a single benefit, and
that it will not have a positive impact for their children, hence whey they don’t participate.
Everyone in my opinion should learn the benefits of immunizations and how it can be
beneficial to children in order for them to lead a healthier life, without getting any diseases
that are major or obtain obscene health conditions.
Vaccines is either a weakened version, or a dead part of the germ which leads to
disease which is in question (Stanford Children’s Health, 2021). When a child has been
exposed to the disease from the vaccine, their germ fighting response team also known as
the immune system are able to produce antibodies which protect their bodies from
contracting the disease. Immunizations like MMR, Influenza, Varicella, polio, tetanus,
cold, different types of hepatitis, diphtheria and now COVID-19 exist in this world of ours.
