convenience. One of the major roles of Process Management in regard to OS security is to avoid
deadlocks. Deadlock is the result of two or more processes attempt to access a locked resource
by other process (Garg & Verma, 2017). The other important role is managing interrupts that
are generated by illegal job instructions and arithmetic operations (McHoes & Flynn, 2018).
