Briefly tell me about yourself. I am a recent graduate of Rasmussen College for
my Medical Billing and Coding Certificate. I currently have 6-12 months of
clerical experience within the medical field and front desk assistance. My
transferrable skills are beyond exceptional dye to my past and previous work
experiences. I am a fast learner and great listener, and I am determined to go
above and beyond for this company.
Why do you want to work in this profession? I want to work in the medical
field because I have come to learn that I do enjoy helping others who are in
need. I believe in a helping hand and making a difference in someone’s life
because it increases my everyday motivation. Being able to code and bill
properly would save everyone time and money with their medical reports and
bills.
What would your previous co-workers or managers say about you? They
would recognize me as an independent worker but also a team player. I am
always willing to learn along with being an exceptional fast learner. I am
friendly but also professional.
Everyone has weaknesses. What is an area of opportunity for you? I sometimes
lack confidence. Being in school and with the recent work experience, I have
become comfortable with “not knowing” and asking questions. “No question is a
