What are the objectives of the Black Lives Matter Movement, and can it succeed?

BLM created after George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin in 2013 and was acquitted of
his charged. Only continued to grow as police brutality became more prevalent

Abolish the police; actually, meaning defund

“such as moving funds away from policing and into mental health services and youth work
to prevent crime occurring in the first place”

“Everyone is on board with the principle, but when it comes to the change that is required,

a case of extreme pragmatism.”

guardian article arguing people liked to take a knee for publicity but as soon as the

believe this to be too radical a view – but can you blame them. If you are seeing innocent
people time and time again being murdered by police officers in a flawed and corrupt
system, you would be disgusted, angered and demand radical change to fix the injustice.
The Black Lives Matter movement bravely said enough is enough and demanded the change
they deserved; leading to them becoming global news around the world.
